… A window into a day gone by
About a week ago I got the idea of showing arched windows in my Monday Window blog. I scanned through my archives and came up with a group of photos – you can see them here: Monday Window – 250324 – Cafe Ludwig. All but one of those window photos had been seen in Monday Window before. The one not included in prior posts was taken on Tuesday, May 15, 2012. I thought maybe there were some other photos I could use from that day, so I went back to my archive to take a look at my photos from that day. And that brought me to this story.
That Tuesday was not particularly notable, but I took thirty photos. I don’t remember why, I had not taken any on the day before, nor the day after.
At 11:48 in the morning I took a couple photos of my messy work area. It does include my window looking into the woods in our backyard.

The next photo, taken at 12:16, is the one with the arched windows.

We had gone to the Golden Arches for lunch. Two minutes later I photographer the charming young lady getting chocolate chip cookies for us.

Moments later I took another photo of her, but she moved a bit and she is blurred in the image. A good test image to see what Topaz Labs Gigapixel AI 8.3.3 can do. See the results over at Gigapixel – Ludwig’s Toolshed.

We sat down with our order of McChicken sandwiches, dinks and our cookies, at 12:22pm.
After lunch we went to Pinckneyville Park. I took my first photo there at 12:48pm.

We walked around the lake …

… and past the playground.

The last photo I took in the park was at 1:29pm.

A 1:56pm we stopped for gas at out QT station.

Gas was $3.479 per gallon. It is cheaper now. You can see our silver-gray car at the pumps.
At 2:04pm we were back home. I took a photo of a gardenia blossom.

No more photos until 6:05 that evening when I was preparing dinner.

At 6:38pm I served up my Jägerschnitzel with a glass of Warsteiner beer.

Well, that is my photo record of Tuesday, May 15, 2012. Just an ordinary day in the life of the Keck family.
