Dinner for the Green Heron Chicks
About every half hour or so, throughout the day, one of the parents comes to the nest with food in its gullet.

It takes a bit of time for the parent to get the meal ready. Feeding time is pandemonium as the chicks compete for their share.





And then, just moments later, the meal is over, and the adult bird takes off to hunt for more norishment.
