OneDrive every so often sends an email with “Your memories from this day”. So it was today with a collection of five-year old photoodles. The dictionary says that reminiscing is to indulge in enjoyable recollections of past events.
No, she was helping me to promote my local club. The meeting topic was:
Photoodles is my term for playful photo-manipulations.
It had started much earlier, back some nine years. One of my favorite “filters” was the shower-door-glass effect in Microsoft Word. I haven’t seen it elsewhere. It worked nicely with my photo “Bridge” from 2014. It made effective promotional images.
It was fun gathering with friends and talking photography and more. Those days, and with them my friends, have faded into cloudy memories. Just reminiscences now.
